Wildlife Shenanigans
Wildlife Shenanigans:
Wildlife Shenanigans
Deep in the jungle, a monkey with glee,
Swiped a banana from a passing bee.
The bee buzzed back, its sting in the air,
But the monkey just laughed—he didn’t care!
A giraffe with a neck so tall and thin,
Got it stuck in a tree while trying to grin.
The squirrels all giggled, “What a buffoon!”
As he sneezed and knocked down the moon!
A penguin in tuxedo, smooth as could be,
Slipped on some ice and fell in the sea.
He popped back out with a fish in his hand,
Declaring himself “The King of the Land!”
A parrot who loved to gossip and squawk,
Told secrets about the peacocks’ flock.
But when the peacocks heard the bird’s tale,
They ruffled their feathers and chased without fail!
A hippo decided to try ballet,
And wore a tutu on that fine day.
With a leap and a spin, a belly flop came,
Splashing the river, much to his shame!
A hedgehog attempted to surf on a log,
But ended up soaked in the middle of fog.
“Who needs a wave?” he declared with pride,
As he spun round and round on the river’s tide.
A fox with a knack for thieving delight,
Snatched a pie cooling off in the night.
But the baker was waiting, spoon in hand,
Chasing the fox through the flour-filled land!
A lazy sloth decided to race,
Against a tortoise in a very slow pace.
But halfway through, they both fell asleep,
Dreaming of lettuce and snacks to keep.
An owl in spectacles, wise and refined,
Tried knitting a sweater but got in a bind.
With yarn in its claws and stuck in its beak,
It hooted and hollered for nearly a week!
At the end of the day, the animals rest,
Each one knowing they’d done their best.
From jungle to sea, their antics delight,
A world full of laughter, from morning to night!
